Welcome to a Brand New School Year!

Hello Students and Families!!

Welcome! My name is Mrs. Steinhoff and I am your ELA and French teacher this year! It has already been a very busy start to the year but I can truly say I am excited to see you all!

First off, let me tell you a bit about myself. This is my 21th - yes 21th! - year teaching students from Grades 4 - 7. This is now my 6th year at Chief Peguis Middle School and I am so thankful to be here. We have an incredibly dynamic staff and am lucky to call many of my colleagues dear friends.

Once at school, I will tell you much more about myself as I often like to share stories, but what I am really excited for is getting to know you! Fortunately, I have had the opportunity to meet some of you before, either through teaching your siblings or visiting your classrooms, but for many of you, I will be a new addition to your daily life.

Please know that I will do everything I can to make this year fun, interesting, enjoyable, and educational! There will be great days, and perhaps some not so great days but we will do whatever we can, together, to make the best of this new reality.

If you like, take some time to check out my classroom website that has some samples of past student work, lessons, videos, and links. I will often post content on here so you can access it both at home and at school. We will also be using Microsoft Teams to engage in a variety of lessons.

There will be quite a bit of new rules and routines that we will go through during the first few weeks but there is also the chance that many things could change as we go. We will focus on taking it one step at a time :)

I am looking forward to working with all of you this year!

♥, Mrs. Steinhoff
