There are lots of online games and activities you can check out to help you with geography. Today you will check out a few games to either freshen up your world knowledge or ideally learn something new! For this period you play 3 different games to play.

During class, I played all three games which focused on longitude and latitude. My favourite game was the Treasure Hunt because I liked the funny voices! I now know that longitude runs up and down, from north to south and that latitude runs left to right, from east to west.
ReplyDeleteWe need to know where things are located so you can know the coordinates to world landmarks, and it will also help you read the map easier. You also need to know how to locate places on the map to mark locations. For example, you’re on a hike and you find a cool viewing spot you can locate it on a map and write down the coordinates. You also need to know time zones for when you’re on a plane or car passing over multiple time zones. – Nick Buchholzer
