Our Physical World - What does it look like?

Our Physical World - What does it look like?

What does our world really look like? How do we describe how vast and different planet Earth can be? Take a look at the PowerPoint presentation below and fill in the missing information on your corresponding handout. Once finished, we will discuss a bit more about the different types of climate, vegetation and landforms there are in the world and where you might best like to live or at least visit.

  4. My dream location, would be in Mexico by the ocean. The climate would be very hot and humid. The weather will hot, rainy, and foggy. In the morning it would be a little cooler than in the afternoon. There is lots of vegetation so getting food would not be a problem. The weather is perfect. And the climate is perfect too. And I also love going to Mexico and love being their.

  5. In reality, Winnipeg shall always be my home. No matter where I am in the world, Winnipeg is home, that’s why I’ll likely stay. The weather is what I’m used to. -40 and +40 is just the perfect amount of crazy. I like having to bundle up in winter and wearing shorts in summer. I have thought about living in England for a while, but as I said, Winnipeg is home, and that’s where I will likely stay.
